Rüdiger Schlömer (*1978) studied Visual Communication at Aachen University of Applied Sciences, and Art in Context at the University of the Arts Berlin. He works as an independent designer and artist in different fields as sound, textile and interface.

His projects investigate communicative systems and general ideas of authorship, interaction and hierarchy, and have been exhibited and published internationally. Awards include the ZKM International Media Art Award "Interactive" and the Fraunhofer Institute "Digital Sparks Award", together with Michael Janoschek.

Rüdiger Schlömer lives and works in Berlin and Zürich.
